Dr. Mathan graduated from Coimbatore Medical College, Tamilnadu in 1997. His Postgraduate career included research and clinical work at Department of internal medicine & cardiology at NHIL Medical School and Grants Medical College at Universities of Gujarat and Mumbai. Dr. Mathan’s main Interventional focus is on coronary and peripheral angioplasties (opening up of blocked blood vessels) including PTCA of chronically blocked blood vessels.
Dr. Mathan has 14 years of exceptional career in the Interventional Cardiology in Hyderabad. He worked for more than a decade at Yashoda Hospital and he currently attached to Virinchi Hospital at Road No.1 Banjara Hills.
He has delivered more than 200 lecturers at National and International Cardiology forums and has been teaching Cardiology and it’s latest technologies to Doctors at district levels. He is one of the most reputed Cardiologists in Telangana.
Although his focus is Interventional Cardiology he has firm belief in treating more than 500 Happy Patients with critical Cardiac problem by medicines only (without surgery)
His clinical specialty is in treatment of Hypertension and its complications. Dr. Mathan has experience of more that 20000 Angiograms and 3000 PTCA (Angioplasty). He has been awarded a respectable number of awards and prizes including Gold Medal in Cardiology awarded by Mumbai University, Best Thesis award in Cardiology in India, one of the best Young Interventional Cardiologist awarded by Singlive, Singapore.
